Policy for Guests
Our shop cut is 30%, with a $300 daily cap. Please note our shop minimum is $150. If you trade while here, we ask that you please pay out $40 for supplies. Please fill out a drop form at the end of each day, found in our guest artist
Please do not use the supplies on shelves near your host station– we have dedicated bottles of green soap, distilled water, alcohol etc. for guests. The black storage cabinets are where you may source all the provided supplies for your setups!
Use Madacide on your furniture and tray after each client and at the end of day, and reset the bed to “chair” orientation.
Take trash out to dumpster (located up the driveway on the south/left of the shop).
Refill green soap/water/madacide/paper towels if needed.
Keep your host station tidy.
Consent is at the heart of our studio and tattooing practices. We strongly encourage our clients to advocate for themselves throughout the process.
It is essential to check in with your client regularly during the appointment, to reaffirm that they have full agency over their body and needs. This is especially important when touching them throughout the tattoo, whether that is to prep their skin, continue after a break, lay the bandage, adjust clothing, etc.

It is of the utmost importance that we uphold a high standard of sanitation, for the safety of our clients and one another. We are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding set-up and take-down.
Here is a brief guide on how to safely prepare your station while guesting at June Bug Tattoo.
Guests will be provided disposables and while they are welcome to use the resident artists table, arm rests, tray tables, and lights, we ask that they not use anything inside the station furniture or on the stations’ shelves.
Set-up:
Wash your paws, with soap and water, dry with a clean paper towel.
Glove up
Spray all the surfaces that you intend to use during your session: chair, tray table, lamp, machine, bottles, pillows, etc.
Wait for the full ‘kill time’, between 1-3 minutes.
Wipe down surfaces with madacide/opticide wipes.
Wash hands, glove up.
Wrap tray table and arm rest with saran wrap (use only distilled water to help the saran stay in place).

Bag your bottles, then using a sterilized tongue depressor, add a small amount of ointment onto the tray
Place a drape sheet onto the entirety of your massage table, cover pillows with saran or drape sheet.
Ink is added to the cups after the client’s skin is fully prepped, with a clean pair of gloves and paper towel. Needle cartridges only opened after client is present.
