astor’s booking instructions

All appointments require a deposit of $170 to be paid within 24 hours of booking an appointment. I take payment via Zelle or Venmo, see details below!

The deposit secures you a spot on my calendar and will be deducted from the final cost of your tattoo. I only require one deposit per project so there is no need to send multiple deposits for projects requiring multiple sessions. If the booking is for a custom project I only put pencil to paper once I have your deposit on my books. Please note that once sent, all deposits are non-refundable, even if you end up needing to cancel our appointment. If you need to reschedule, please let the studio or me know at least 48 hours in advance to avoid losing your deposit. Habitual reschedules or reschedules without advance warning will also forfeit your deposit and you will be required to pay a new deposit to book again.

Consultations do not require a deposit and can be done in person or remotely depending on the individual project and preference. For custom designs, I usually send out two illustrations in advance of our appointment: one rough sketch which shows the direction I intend to go with the piece, and one finalized version of the design. With the sketch I am looking for feedback, so please let me know at that stage if there is anything that isn’t working for you, and feel free to be specific! All major design changes should be expressed at this time as I don’t do major edits day-of. You will only receive the final design a day before our appointment.
